I wrote this short little poem about what God means to me. I hope that you enjoy it and please comment below on what God means to you!
God, the God of the universe means father. He protects me from seen and unseen danger. He takes my hand and holds it through the scary times of life. He holds me and carries me when I do not even know it. He help’s me choose good godly friends that will love and cherish me.
God, the God of the universe means provider. When I am without He provides for me. Even when I am not worthy of it, He blesses me. He gifts me with things that help me in life, things that I could never dream of. He is my provider; physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially, He provides all my needs.
God, the God of the universe means way maker. He makes a path for me through thick concrete walls, through oceans, rivers, valleys, and storms. He makes a way when there is no way. He is a trailblazer, blazing trails through my trials and tribulations.
God means so much to me. He is my physiologist, listening to my troubles and pain tells me to cast all of my cares on to Him for He has answers and solutions. He is my doctor, healing me from physical ailments and curing me of diseases. He is my friend, walking with me through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not fear because God is with me. He is the giver of wisdom, peace, strength, love, joy and so much more. I do not need to worry because God knows how to care for me better than anyone else.
God, means everything to me and I mean everything to Him. He gave his only Son so that one day I will live with Him. God, the God of the universe means everything to me because without Him I am nothing.
